Welcome to the Thermalito Union School District website. As you peruse our site, I hope you will learn more about our district and what we do to help our community and its families prepare themselves for their future.  We serve approximately 1,400 students in grades Pre-K - 8th, and are located in the foothills of Northern California, a small rural area near the city of Oroville. The Thermalito Union School District is committed to excellence in all facets of education. The Board of Trustees, along with the administration and staff, invite you to explore the site and learn more about our District's achievements and goals.

Dear Community Members, 

The link below will show you the Thermalito Union Elementary School District's action plan that covers the next three years, commencing with 2015-16.  It is embedded in the state template of the new Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) and funded under the state's new funding system of the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) as well as other funding sources.

In order to become familiar with the plan, we urge you to take a moment and review the approved plan and feel free to ask questions as they relate to the LCAP.
